Priory cottage rental near Fantasy Beach

Adorable 1BR Cottage sleeps 3, with air conditioning, hot water, a full kitchen, a washing machine, a private entrance and a balcony. Rates start from $54 a night for 2 guests, plus $20 a night for a third guest. One-night stays are welcome, stays of 3 nights or more include one complimentary laundry wash, and a Jamaican breakfast can be added for $10 per person.

Fantasy Beach, a short walk away

The cottage is within walking distance of Fantasy Beach, also called Priory Beach, a free public beach right beside the North Coast Highway. The water is generally calm enough for swimming and wading. It is a local favourite and gets busy with families on weekends, so weekdays are usually quieter.

Things to do near Priory

Grizzly’s Plantation Cove, home of the Rebel Salute reggae festival every January, is 5 minutes from the cottage, which makes it an easy base for festival weekend. Plantation Smokehouse is close by for dinner, and Blue Hole is a popular day trip at $15 to $25 entry. Dunn’s River Falls and Ocho Rios are east along the coast; skip Tuesday and Wednesday for the falls, since those are cruise ship days.
