Inside Richmond Estate

Richmond was envisioned by Lee Issa, founder of the Lee’s Fifth Avenue retail chain, as a green, resort-style neighborhood rather than a dense housing scheme. Today it mixes apartments, townhouses and detached homes behind 24-hour security, with a clubhouse and infinity pool, a gym, mini golf, a tennis court, a children’s playground and an on-site grocery store. The pool, gym, mini golf and the private beach club are reserved for Richmond owners and their guests, and the beach club is a few minutes’ drive from both homes.

Things to do near Richmond Estate

Chukka Cove sits right across the main road for horseback riding, ATV tours and cliff jumping. Scotchies and Plantation Smokehouse are close by for dinner, and Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Green Grotto Caves and White River rafting are all within 5 to 20 minutes. Skip Tuesday and Wednesday for the falls, since those are cruise ship days. Next door in Priory you will find the free public Fantasy Beach and Grizzly’s Plantation Cove, home of Rebel Salute.
