Sunset@ArecaHomes is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom single-level home in Camelot Village, a gated community in Discovery Bay. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and TVs, and a queen airbed makes room for a fifth guest. Cook in the full kitchen or ask about chef service, then eat on the private patio as the sun goes down. Rates start from $121 a night for up to 4 guests, plus $25 a night per extra guest, with a 2-night minimum.

Puerto Seco Beach, 3 minutes away

Every guest gets complimentary access to the Puerto Seco Beach Club, a white-sand beach 3 minutes from the villa with beachside dining. The club sometimes closes for private events, so confirm your beach days when you book. It gets busy with locals on weekends, so weekdays are quieter.

Things to do near Discovery Bay

Green Grotto Caves are 5 minutes away, open 9am to 4pm, at $20 for adults and $10 for kids. Columbus Park, an open-air museum overlooking the bay, is right in town. River Rapids in Trelawny is 15 minutes, the Luminous Lagoon is 27 minutes, and Dunn’s River Falls is 33 minutes east. Skip Tuesday and Wednesday for the falls, since those are cruise ship days.
