Wedding/Event Policy
All Three Villas are Located Oceanfront with the Same Address
Thank you for considering one or more of our villas for your special occasion or event. The following terms
and conditions for hosting a wedding or any event
(a) referred to as “The Villa” will apply:
- Minimum stay of three (3) nights.
- Event/Wedding Fee of US$1500
- All costs related to the wedding/event are the responsibility of the renter(s).
- The refundable Damage Deposit of US$1,000 must be paid upon payment of the final balance of the and will be held until the property has been assessed after the event.
- The cost of any damages to the property or any missing items from the villa exceeding the damage deposit will be the renter(s) responsibility. Payment for extensive damage is to be paid within one month after a full damage assessment is submitted to the renter(s).
- Weddings or events must be fully catered including staff, bar, cocktail and dinner service.
- We highly recommend that you hire a local wedding or event planner who will be able to assist with all your planning needs and requirements. For example; floral arrangements, event decorations, bar service, food service, wedding cake, desserts, tents, tables, chairs, music, entertainment, etc).
- The Villa staff are for the comfort of our guests staying in-house and for the security of the villa and cannot be made available to work as wedding or event staff.
- Maximum number of guests allowed for the event is 80 persons; this includes occupants of The Villa
- There will be limited access to the Villa for non-resident guests.
- We ask that all bedroom doors be locked during the event to protect the personal items of The Villa guests.
- The Villa kitchen will not be available to the catering service or to prepare any food or beverage for the event.
- The Villas service items (plates, glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, platters, etc.) are not available for use at the wedding or event. Event caterer must ensure that a prep tent or external prep area is provided for the preparation and/or plating of meals. The Villa kitchen may not be used for this purpose.
- The Renter must rent/provide a generator for use during the event where backup power is needed.
- Event planner must meet with our Villa Manager at least one (1) month before event to review and finalize logistics.
- Final guest count, guest names and vendor list must be provided to the Villa Manager at least one (1) week prior to the event.
- Vendors must clean up their areas after use. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of your damage deposit.
- Vendors and off-property guests are not allowed inside The Villa areas that are not designated for the venue rental, with the exception of hair, make-up, videography and photography vendors and any wedding party.
- A detailed plan of the set up for tents, scaffolding, and structures must be provided to the villa manager for review and approval, one month prior to the event.
- Additional security guards for the protection of the wedding/event guests and for vehicles parked outside The Villa gates is the responsibility of the renter (s). Fortune Villas and/or booking manager can also provide security at an additional cost and can be quoted upon request.
- Any structures and/or decorations used at the event must be removed within 24 hours after the event. This time may be less if there are new rental guests arriving the day after the event.
- Please be reminded that The Villa cater on a daily basis to the maximum number of guests allowed at each property. Therefore any extra guests will add a strain on resources, staff and the facilities. Whilst we understand that you may have colleagues and family for your wedding/event who may be staying in other accommodations nearby, we kindly request that The Villa not be used by other guests as a meeting location that will result in an overload on The Villa and the staff.
- Whilst The Villa offers privacy within the community, we ask our guests to respect the neighbourhood and comply with the laws of Jamaica. The renters are asked to ensure that all guests and visitors to the property behave appropriately. Illegal or immoral activities including gambling, prostitution, prohibited drugs, possession or use of pyrotechnics or dangerous goods, and possession or use of firearms and other weapons are all strictly prohibited. Smoking is also prohibited on the property.
- The Villa will not be responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness or death that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Villas are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By signing this agreement, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
- The Renter is responsible for the behaviour of the guests staying at the property as well as visitors to the property during the rental period. Should any guest(s) or visitor(s) not behave in a suitable manner, the Villa Manager/Supervisor may, in their absolute discretion, require the Guest, their party, and/or visitor(s) to leave the premises and/or vacate the Property immediately, without compensation or refund.
- In the interest of safety, due care should be taken at the property at all times, especially with children. Suitable supervision should be given around the pool, jacuzzi, roadway and when using all The Villa facilities.
- All guests acknowledge the risks of the global Covid-19 Pandemic. All guests will take precautions as advised by the World Health Organization and the Centre for Disease Control for the safety and protection of all persons in The Villas. The Villas are to be indemnified and held harmless from any liability, for sickness, injury and/or death arising from any guest contracting, carrying, or transmitting Covid-19 to any other guest or any other person(s) in their party during or after their stay at the Villa.
